※ 镀金首饰清洗方法：可用手搓香皂或清洁剂等方式清洗。
※1），在干活的时候，特别是重体力活的时候不要佩戴镀金首饰。因为可能会因为在干活的时候出现碰撞项链的情况。还可能会因为出大量的汗水，而让首饰上的镀金被浸泡而变得容易褪色。
※ 2）在洗澡和洗脸的时候不能佩戴，特别是不要让镀金项链接触热水，避免于肥皂水等酸碱性的物质直接接触，这些平时的不注意可能都会导致首饰的色泽发生一定的变化，所以在佩戴的时候一定要格外小心。
※ 3）镀金首饰的表面是镀了一层黄金电镀层，无论多结实，都不如黄金不易变色，所以在佩戴的时候一定要注意不能和其他的东西发生摩擦建议是多款首饰轮流替换佩戴。这样可以延长首饰保色周期。另外在收藏的时候，也要注意不要和其他首饰放在一起，以免将表面的镀层摩擦掉。
※4）因为部分铜镀金的硬度是比较小的，所以在摘戴的过程中，要小心，动作要轻柔一些，不能强拉硬拽，以免弄断、另外还要在搬动重物的时候尽量摘下来，以防出现挂断的情况。
