1.银饰变黑原因
银饰变黑是正常的自然现象，因空气和其它自然介质中的硫和氧化物等对银都有一定的腐蚀作用。银饰佩戴时间长了，硫与银结合就会在银饰表面形成一层黑色的硫化银膜，开始表现为一些细小的斑点，硫化现象加剧后慢慢扩散成片，形成人们通常所说的银垢，变成为黑色，影响到银饰的表面光泽，人们通常误以为是掉色。
其化学反应方程式为：4Ag+H2S+O2=2Ag2S+2H2O
2.银饰硫化后如何清洗？
挤少许牙膏，加少许水揉出丰富的泡沫，用软布擦拭直至光亮，缝隙可用细软毛牙刷刷净，再用清水冲净即可。对于复杂的构件和链子，可放入带泡沫的牙膏水中反复轻揉，再用清水冲净即可。硫化严重时，可用专业洗银水清洗。虽然进口洗银水号称是“不伤银”的，但是洗银水毕竟是化学制剂，不到必要时，建议不要选择使用。
3. 银饰日常如何保养？
较好的银饰保养方法是天天配戴，因为人体的油脂会使银发出温润自然的光泽（当 然也有人例外，有人的汗液中本身含有使银变黑的成分）。佩戴时每天要用软布或 擦银布擦拭银饰表面，以保持光泽及干燥。不佩戴时用软布轻拭表面以清除水分和 污垢，置放与密闭袋子中，防止银饰表面与空气接触而氧化变黑。
